Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of tax preparation and compliance for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profits.Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Review and approve tax returns prepared by staff, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely filing.Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering their professional development and strengthening the tax department's performance.Stay current on changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends, and share relevant insights with clients and team members.Research complex tax issues, providing clear recommendations and solutions.Partner with other departments (audit, advisory) to deliver comprehensive client services.Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted tax advisor.Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient and profitable delivery of services.Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldActive CPA license5+ years of experience in tax preparation and management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory roleStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulationsProficiency in tax preparation softwareProven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated leadership, mentoring, and client relationship skills
