Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Unit Location :

  • Tallahassee, Florida Compensation : Hourly Rate : $27.72 – $39.60 (based on experience) Shift Differentials : $3.00 / hour for night shifts $2.00 / hour for weekend shifts Sign-On Bonus : Up to $20,000 (case-by-case basis) Position Overview : We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical Unit at a leading acute care facility in Tallahassee, FL .
  • This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and create individualized care plans Deliver and coordinate evidence-based nursing care Advocate for patient safety and well-being Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team Educate patients and families about medications, treatment plans, and recovery expectations Respond independently and effectively in clinical situations Qualifications : Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida (or ability to obtain prior to start) Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience required Acute care experience preferred; LTAC experience considered Current BLS certification (required) ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Work Environment : Patient-to-Nurse Ratio : 1 : 5 to 1 : 6 Shift Options : Day Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM (rotating weekends) Night Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (rotating weekends) Comprehensive Benefits Package : Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with 100% match (3%–9% of pay based on years of service) Free telemedicine and behavioral health services Employee stock purchase plan Fertility and family-building assistance Tuition reimbursement and education assistance Paid time off, family leave, and disability coverage Wellness resources including emotional and financial support Apply Today : Advance your nursing career in oncology and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.
