We are looking for a skilled SQL Data Consultant to join our team on a contract basis in Woodridge, Illinois. In this role, you will focus on enhancing data integration and reporting capabilities, ensuring seamless access to information for end users. You will play a pivotal part in enabling data transfer processes, optimizing performance, and creating accessible reporting solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting requirements and determine necessary data sources.
- Design and implement efficient methods to transfer data to an Azure Managed Instance, optimizing data volume and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain secure and high-performing data pipelines.
- Facilitate Power BI connectivity to enable users to create dynamic dashboards and reports.
- Eliminate manual data handling processes by implementing streamlined solutions.
- Coordinate with the primary implementation team to align on priorities, timing, and data structure requirements.
- Provide technical support to users and create documentation to assist with expanding reporting capabilities.
- Analyze current data processes and propose improvements for greater efficiency and accessibility.
- Ensure data security and compliance throughout the integration and reporting workflow.
- Proven experience in extracting and integrating data from various systems.
- Proficiency in working with Azure Managed Instances and Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with client-side scripting and API development.
- Ability to create Business Requirement Documents and manage configuration processes.
- Knowledge of Salesforce development and integration.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into actionable solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
