We have a direct hire opening for a Box Truck Driver in Kent, WA with a medical device manufacturer that also provides rental and reprocessing services to hospitals and nursing homes.
- This role supports the company’s rental program, which supplies reusable medical equipment such as hospital beds and specialty mattresses to healthcare facilities.
- You’ll load and unload equipment at the service center, drive a 24–26’ box truck to hospitals and nursing homes, and pick up used beds and mattresses on your return trips once hospitals call in for pickup. Most of the day is spent driving, with some time back at the service center helping check, clean, and stage equipment for the next delivery.
- Box truck or commercial driving experience is not required.

Pay and Schedule Information :
Pay : $25–$27 per hourSchedule : 7 am to 3 : 30 pm; Tuesday to SaturdayBe on call every-other-week for hospital deliveries that may come in overnight. Most nights no calls come through, but you must be available to respond if a hospital needs an urgent bed delivery.Job Duties of the Box Truck Driver :
This position is based at the Kent, WA service center and involves driving to and from hospitals and nursing homes throughout the King County area.Prepare the beds, mattresses, and delivery paperwork at the service center so each order is ready to load for that day’s deliveriesLoad and unload the equipment at the service center and hospitals. The beds are on wheels and roll directly on and off the truckDrive a 24–26’ box truck to deliver clean rental equipment to hospitals and nursing homesPick up used beds and mattresses on the way back after hospitals request pickup through dispatchWork with hospital staff to locate equipment for pickup, identify where beds or mattresses have been placed, and handle the delivery or removal before returning to the service centerComplete all delivery and pickup documentation and record equipment barcodesReturn equipment to the service center for cleaning and inspectionInspect the truck and report any maintenance needsWork with dispatch and the service center team to complete daily routes safely and efficientlyFollow a step-by-step checklist when assisting with cleaning by wiping down, testing, and staging equipment so it’s ready for the next deliveryBenefits of the Box Truck Driver Role :
