Food Service Lead

Job Title : Food Service Lead

Payroll Status : Non-Exempt / Hourly

Reports to : Store Manager

Purpose : The Food Service Lead is responsible for ensuring that all food items are prepared and presented according to True North standards and in compliance with all food safety practices. Ensures that all food items are properly portioned and presented timely, as well as resolving any guest concerns. This role is responsible for maintaining proper inventory to meet guest demand and directing other team members.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Update and maintain weekly and monthly cost reports and sales data.
• Cover KKC kitchen shifts as needed.
• Ensure that guests are served safe and quality food in a timely manner.
• Regularly inspect work areas to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Take inventory of food supplies and other consumables, order necessary supplies as needed, and receive deliveries.
• Coordinate inventory, including marking dates and FIFO product rotation.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store image, merchandising, pricing, cash register operations / Point of Sale (POS), and loss prevention in adherence

to all Company / Store policies, including brand and image standards.

Qualifications and Requirements :

professional (FMP) accreditation is advantageous (not required).
