As a hybrid / remote position, you will have the flexibility to work both in person and remotely, providing you with a great work-life balance. Daily Responsibilities : Dispensing glasses and contact lenses Performing pre-testing and visual field testing Assisting with eye exams and prepping patients for the Doctor of Optometry Handling insurance billing and processing claims Providing exceptional customer service and assisting with frame selection Required Skills : Experience with insurance billing in an optometry setting Knowledge of ocular diseases and eye care procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills ABO certification and experience with lensometry Ability to perform visual field testing and refraction Autorefractor experience Optical Sales expertise Optical Knowledge proficiency Certified Optician qualification Diabetic Retinopathy knowledge Lens Selection proficiency Nice to Have Skills : Experience with corneal topography and fundus photography Knowledge of dry eye management and contact lens fitting Ability to perform keratometry and applanation tonometry Company Information : Established in 2012, Tomahawk Eyecare is a leading optometry practice in Tomahawk, WI.
