Job Title : UX Researcher
Location : Role is based in Plano, TX, with a minimum of 3 days in-office per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
Duration : Ongoing Contract - Full 40 Hours

Point of Pain / Reason for need : Recent layoffs impacted the design system team. The company is refocusing efforts on its most profitable business unit-Component Manufacturing (CM)-and is preparing for a major product showcase in 11 months. These roles will support CM and help elevate the UX maturity of the organization.
What is this person going to be doing every day (Day in the Life) :
- Lead strategic research initiatives across multiple product lines
- Design and execute mixed-method research (qualitative + quantitative)
- Deliver actionable insights that influence product roadmaps and business strategy
- Mentor junior researchers and promote best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research drives decisions
- Advocate for thoughtful, evidence-based design in a traditionally fast-paced, screen-heavy industry
Top 1, 2, 3 (Must-Have Experience & Software) :
5+ years of UX research experience in enterprise or complex product environmentsExpertise in both generative and evaluative research methodsMust have direct experience in construction / manufacturingSoftware & Equipment : Will be providedTeam / Who are they working with :Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Associate and UX Researchers
Nice to Haves :
