About the Role :
CW Resources is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Auditor & Compliance Officer to lead our organization’s compliance and audit functions. This role ensures adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards while promoting a culture of accountability and integrity. The ideal candidate will provide strategic oversight of compliance operations, conduct audits, and collaborate with leadership to minimize risk and strengthen internal controls across all departments.

What You’ll Do as the Corporate Auditor & Compliance Officer :
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust audit and compliance framework tailored to CW’s operational environments.
- Develop and oversee internal controls to prevent, detect, and respond to violations of legal and policy requirements.
- Conduct and supervise internal audits, investigations, and corrective action plans to ensure continuous compliance.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external regulatory agencies and auditors by coordinating audit preparation and documentation.
- Interpret and enforce federal, state, and local laws—including OSHA and other applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with leadership, HR, Legal, and other departments to ensure all policies are compliant, clear, and effective.
- Advise senior leadership on emerging compliance trends, risks, and developments that impact business operations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present compliance and audit reports to the CEO, Board of Directors, and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and deliver organization-wide compliance and ethics training programs.
- Maintain detailed records of all compliance activities, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support ongoing compliance with industry standards and demonstrate proficiency in company-mandated training.
What You Need to Be Successful :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field.
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years in corporate compliance and auditing (government contracting and / or AbilityOne Program experience preferred).Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role in compliance, auditing, or related field.Strong knowledge of risk management, auditing, monitoring, and compliance reporting practices.Proven ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local laws and OSHA regulations.High ethical standards and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally and nationally.Bonus If You Have These Skills :
Master’s degree or advanced certification in Compliance, Risk Management, or Corporate Governance.Professional certifications such as CIA , CCEP , CFE , CRCMP , CPA , or CISA .Experience with audit software, compliance tracking systems, and document management platforms.Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple audits and deadlines simultaneously.Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to process improvement.Why You’ll Love This Job :
