Responsibilities : RESPONSIBLE FOR :
Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment or specific medical devices. Inspect, test, replace and adjust malfunctioning components and parts. Keep records of system problems and issues.

Qualifications :
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED :
Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronic Technology, Imaging Service Technology or a related field OR
related military training ORfour (4) years of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) experience in addition to the experience requirement below.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
One (1) year of HTM or electronics engineering experience.
(If no degree, a total of five (5) years of experience required).
MINIMUM LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :
None
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :
Certified Radiology Equipment Service (CRES) preferred.
Vendor training preferred.
Prefer specialized training by manufacturer or third party equipment repair in high end equipment such Diagnostic Imaging.
Working knowledge of laboratory technology, imaging technology, medical terminology, medical instrumentation, anatomy, and / or physiology, and / or service techniques.
Broad knowledge and up-to-date understanding of OSHA, NFPA, DNV, TJC, , FDA, CLEA and other specific state and federal regulations and standards pertaining to equipment service and repair.
