• ️‍ Licensure and Certification Requirements
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
• National certification (AANP or ANCC).
• Collaborative agreement with a supervising physician (if required by state law).
• Current BLS / CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• Malpractice insurance with appropriate coverage for aesthetic procedures.
• Must be eligible to prescribe medications and order treatments per state scope of practice.
• Clinical and Technical Skills
• Experience performing or willingness to be trained in the following :
• Botox / Dysport and other neuromodulator injections
• Dermal fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, etc.)
• Laser and IPL treatments (hair removal, resurfacing, pigmentation, vascular)
• Microneedling, PRP / PRF therapy, and chemical peels
• Body contouring treatments (e.g., CoolSculpting, Emsculpt, etc.)
• Strong understanding of facial anatomy, skin physiology, and aesthetic assessment.
• Ability to manage complications such as filler occlusions, bruising, or adverse reactions.
• Maintain and follow all infection control and sterile technique protocols.
• Patient Care Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive consultations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide clear patient education on procedures, expected outcomes, and post-care.
• Ensure informed consent and proper medical documentation for all procedures.
• Provide follow-up and manage post-procedure concerns.
• Build strong, trusting patient relationships and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Operational and Compliance Duties
• Maintain compliance with state medical board regulations and HIPAA standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and continuing medical education (CME).
• Assist in inventory management and upkeep of clinical supplies / equipment.
• Ensure accurate charting and documentation in EMR systems.
• Collaborate with the medical director, RNs, estheticians, and administrative staff.
• Sales and Business Development
• Recommend complementary or follow-up treatments based on patient goals.
• Help achieve clinic sales targets through patient retention and treatment plan conversions.
• Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor consistent with a luxury med spa environment.
• Preferred Qualifications
• 1–3 years of NP experience in aesthetic medicine, dermatology, or plastic surgery.
• Completion of advanced injector training courses (e.g., Allergan, Galderma, Merz certifications).
• Strong interpersonal and consultative sales skills.
• High attention to detail, artistic eye, and passion for cosmetic outcomes
