Job Description

As an Advanced System Software Safety Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of advanced software systems for commercial, defense and space applications. In this role, you will impact the development and implementation of safety-critical software systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices to protect people and assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the design and development of safety-critical software systems, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.
• Conduct safety assessments and hazard analyses of software systems.
• Develop and implement safety requirements and guidelines for software development.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure safety considerations are integrated into the software development lifecycle.
• Perform safety verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in verification reviews and design reviews, providing recommendations for improving software safety.
• Perform the following assessments and reviews :
