Job Title : Brown & Sharpe Screw Machinist

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced machinist with expertise in setting up and operating Brown & Sharpe Screw Machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blueprint reading and the ability to utilize micrometers and calipers to ensure products meet company standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Brown & Sharpe Screw Machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Use micrometers and calipers for quality inspection and to ensure product precision.
• Operate manual machinery efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all operations.

Work Environment

The facility is well-lit and clean, housing 35-40 machines and a team of 8 employees. Though not climate-controlled, our shop ensures a conducive working environment. The shift hours are from 6 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00 / hr.
