Position Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Door & Glazing Estimator to join our estimating team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in glass, aluminum, and storefront systems estimating, with the ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications accurately.

Responsibilities :

Review plans, specs, and bid documents to prepare detailed estimates

Quantify materials, labor, and equipment costs for glazing projects

Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing

Prepare and submit professional bid proposals

Track and follow up on bid opportunities and awarded projects

Coordinate with project managers on awarded jobs

Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of experience in glazing or glass estimating

Strong knowledge of commercial storefronts, curtain walls, and glazing systems

Proficiency in takeoff software and Microsoft Excel

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and time management
