Locum Tenens OB Hospitalist Opportunity in Eastern IA

Opportunity Details

Medicus is collaborating with a medical center in eastern Iowa that has an opportunity for an OB Hospitalist to assist their team.

Opportunity Overview :

• Level III Trauma
• Schedule : 12 or 24-hour weekday or weekend call shifts, 1 : 5 rotation
• Setting : Inpatient
• Delivery Volume : 65-80 per month
• 40% low-risk patients, 60% high-risk patients
• Duties : OB triage, deliveries, rounding, circumcisions if able, and
• Required Procedures : Deliveries, laceration repairs, surgical gynecology, FHR interpretation, ultrasounds, and amniocentesis
• Support Staff : 4 MDs, 1-2 CNMs, and labor & delivery, post-partum, OR, and ER staff
• EMR : Cerner
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
