AVP, Underwriting Manager - Multinational (Regional)

Zurich is currently looking to hire an AVP, Underwriting Manager- Multinational (Regional) to lead our International Team of Large Casualty Underwriters in the West region! We are open to hiring in Los Angeles, San Diego or San Francisco. This is a hybrid opportunity between work-from-home and in-office time. You will be expected to travel as necessary to support the needs of the team and to cultivate key broker relationships within the region (20%). This is a critical role in driving and engaging team culture. We are looking for someone with the following attributes :

• Experience working on highly complex international placements for both guaranteed cost and loss sensitive program structures.
• Strong sales and collaborative mindset.

At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. In compliance with local laws, Zurich commits to providing a fair and reasonable compensation range for each role. The proposed salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $215,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 20%.
