What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a corrections environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the maintenance of order in the location.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or identify potential issues.Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and / or detainees as needed, following all protocols relevant to a corrections setting.Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and site management, adapting to the unique environment of a corrections location.What We're Looking For :

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
