Position Overview : Addiction Psychiatrist
Location : Tufts Medical Center, Downtown BostonPrimary Responsibilities :Inpatient Care : Addiction Consultation-Liaison (CL) with a multidisciplinary team (including resident physicians and social workers) to manage acute withdrawal syndromes and substance use disorder cases in hospitalized patients.
Outpatient Care : Support expansion of Tufts Ambulatory Addiction services, collaborate with other departments, and provide long-term care for complex, dually-diagnosed patients.Academic Appointment : Faculty position with Tufts University School of Medicine based on experience and academic contributions.Requirements :
Education : MD or DO from an accredited medical school.Training : Completion of ACGME- or AOA-accredited Adult Psychiatry Residency; Board Certified / Board Eligible in Adult Psychiatry.Licensure : Eligible for a Massachusetts medical license.Preferred : Fellowship training and / or Board Certification in Addiction Psychiatry.
