Travel Med Surg Oncology RN Johnson City, NY

Location : Johnson City, NY

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights, 3x12s per week (36 hours)

Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring a Travel Med Surg Oncology RN for a 13-week assignment in Johnson City, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in both medical-surgical and oncology nursing, with the ability to deliver compassionate and evidence-based care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to oncology and med surg patients

Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy in accordance with ONS / ONCC standards

Monitor patients for treatment responses and side effects

Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and discharge care

Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary care teams

Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic EMR

Requirements

Active RN NY license

BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications

ONS / ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Certificate

Minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg Oncology experience

Epic EMR experience
