Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel RN Position Job Notes : Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as needed with expectation of every other full weekend
• No call requirements
• Float within scope as needed
• Minimum 1 year inpatient acute care experience in Med Surg and Neuro required
• Required certifications : BLS and NIHSS
• Patient ratios of 1 : 5-6
• Must be willing to occasionally take charge responsibilities
• Work with neurosurgical patients including stroke, seizures, MS, back / head / spinal and other neurological diagnoses
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• FIT test required on site
• Black scrubs required
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday
