Email Marketing Assistant

to join our premier client's digital marketing team in

Seattle, WA . This is a

full-time position , starting as a

3-4-month contract . This role is critical in executing customer-facing campaigns through email, push notifications, and onsite merchandising. From campaign creation to content publishing and creative collaboration, your work will directly impact how customers experience new and existing brands.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Email Marketing Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of execution, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to bring digital campaigns to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and launch email and push campaigns aligned with strategic marketing roadmaps.
  • Develop onsite homepage merchandising campaigns focused on holdout or new-to-site brands.
  • Assist in shaping and executing the campaign strategy across email, push, and onsite merchandising.
  • Drive the development of campaign creative in collaboration with a dedicated design team.
  • Partner with the social media agency to support organic social media efforts.
  • Report on campaign KPIs and progress toward goals to senior management.
  • Edit content using basic HTML / XML and publish via Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Work closely with internal trafficking and merchandising teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment.
  • Collaborate with category marketers to support seasonal and high-velocity events like Black Friday, and Cyber Monday.
  • Contribute to the planning, scheduling, and execution of campaigns, including copywriting and asset coordination.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on email, push, mobile, or onsite merchandising.
  • Proven experience writing customer-facing copy that is on-brand and compelling.
  • Proficiency with Content Management Systems, and ability to edit HTML and XML.
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis, including use of VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and similar functions.
  • Strong communication and project coordination skills, with experience collaborating across departments and presenting to leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree required (Marketing or related field preferred).
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing large-scale marketing campaigns and seasonal initiatives.
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation, profiling, and A / B testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with organic social media campaigns and supporting influencer / search efforts.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
  • Self-starter with a strong bias for action and the ability to take initiative without close supervision.
