Amentum is currently searching for an IT Programmer / Developer I to work in our Englewood, CO office. The IT Programmer / Developer job family is responsible for design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, integration and implementation of systems (hardware and / or software).
Maintains, troubleshoots, and performs regular backup and data migration activities for various databases residing is various platforms.
Provides cross-training and / or end-user training for finished products.
Assist in documenting / developing cyber protections to in-production / in-house developed applications.
Minimum Requirements
Specific experience and proficiency in the following coding languages at a minumum : VBA, Python, SQL, Java, HTML
Ability to interact with staff and stakeholders, gather requirements and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be a US citizen, Dual citizenship must be disclosed and successfully pass background checks and drug testing.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology field (MIS, CIS, CS) or demonstrated equivalent required. Some IT experience preferred. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Debugging and coding experience on apps and databases.
Specific experience and proficiency in the following coding languages at a minimum : VBA, Python, SQL, Java, HTML, AI experience and advanced certifications a plus.
COMPENSATION
HIRING SALARY RANGE : $70K - $80K (Annually) (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
