Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Equipment Technician to join a leading construction and machinery service team in the Tallahassee area. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment used in construction, forestry, and material handling. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, electrical troubleshooting experience, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on heavy equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues.
• Complete service documentation and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with service coordinators and parts departments to ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
