Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Emergency Department

AS A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN), EMERGENCY DEPARMTENT , you'll be responsible for delivering care to patients, performing appropriate segments of the prescribed medical regime for an assigned group of patients and effectively interacting with patients, significant others, and other health care team works while maintaining standards of practical nursing under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and within the scope of their practice. You'll provide care in our 10 bed Vertical Triage Room.

$7,500 Sign-On / Retention Bonus for Qualified Candidates

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must have a current Pennsylvania Practical Nurse License or Temporary Practice Permit
• Must have Healthcare Provider CPR Certification within 6 months of start in the position
• Must have Crisis Management certification within 6 months of start in the position
• Previous med / surg / telemetry experience preferred
• Must have ability to work flexible hours including shift, weekends, holidays, etc.
• Must have good communication skills
