Ideal candidate will have completed an EM fellowship or have 2-3 years of EM experience. Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking an experienced Physician Associate to join our hospital- employed Emergency Medicine team in Bangor, Maine. Experienced candidates and new graduates with demonstrated commitment to emergency medicine are encouraged to apply.
About us :
- Level II trauma, tertiary care center serving the northern 2 / 3 of Maine.
- 36k patients / year encompassing all ages, highest acuity ED in the state.
- Low volume of ESI 4 / 5 patients, averaging 14 a day.
- Group consists of 18 B / C Emergency Medicine Physicians and 9 Physician Associates. Dual physician coverage 24 / 7
- Care areas include the main ED, Behavioral Health, observation, and holding areas.
- Full support of medical specialist.
