Primary Purpose Of The Position

Supervises the plant warehouse function as directed.

Essential Responsible Areas

• Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
• Supports development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the safety culture efforts, food safety system and lean practices.
• Provides leadership and supervision to the plant warehouse function.
• Maintains direct support to all departments in the plant via material handling.
• Facilitates the transportation of inbound and outbound shipments of products and materials.
• Reviews, completes, and ensures the accuracy of warehouse related documents and shipments.
• Ensures that all forklifts and warehouse equipment are properly maintained.
• Facilitates training for subordinates.
• Maintains good housekeeping in the plant warehouse, external warehouses and related areas.
• Communicates with customers, outside warehouses and freight carriers to respond to customer orders.
• May provide backup for other positions.
• Initiates, reviews, masters, and follows all manuals, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Establishes and maintains an employee relations climate of trust and confidence.
• Establishes and maintains effective work relationships.

Compensation & Benefits

Hiring Salary Range : $74k-119k (Salary to be determined by the applicants education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.) This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan. Ball includes a comprehensive benefits structure.
