Job description

Overview

Electronic Design and Analysis Engineer (Associate, Experienced, or Senior) with security clearance. Location : Albuquerque, NM. The position is with Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) and involves requirements and architecture development, software and firmware testing, and developing software requirements plans for a new program. The role covers requirements definition, integration and test, verification & validation of requirements, and all aspects of firmware / software development and test throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support firmware and software development projects.
  • Work in a team environment to develop specifications of firmware and software architectures.
  • Integrate and synthesize firmware and software for the target platform.
  • Develop and maintain software code. Integrate software into a fully functional software system.
  • Troubleshoot firmware and software issues.

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 3+ years of experience programming in C, C++, or C#.
  • Experience with software development methodology.
  • Working knowledge and / or experience in software architecture and software development.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • 3+ years of experience working with FPGA embedded systems.
  • Experience with FPGA processor or memory interconnects.
  • Experience in embedded software development.
  • Hardware integration and software integration experience.
  • Experience using programming languages (VHDL, C++, Java, MATLAB).
  • Experience with electro-optical systems (EO systems, electro optics).

  • Security Clearance : active U.S. Secret Clearance (or equivalent) required; U.S. Citizenship required. Visa sponsorship is not available.
