A leading industrial producer in Morgantown is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk assists in ensuring that the company receives payment for goods and services offered to clients.

This role offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule with hours of 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm, or 8 : 30am to 5 : 00 pm. Compensation is based on experience, ranging from $15 - $18 hourly.

Responsibilities :

• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
• Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers
• Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attention
• Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections; identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files; and contacts delinquent account holders to request payment
• Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested
• Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger
• Assists Accounting Manager in reconciling revenue accounts each month
• Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed
• This person may also assist with tasks in other departments such as Payroll and Human Resources as needed
