Title : Director of Emergency Services Department

Shift : D ays

Location : Houston, TX

We’re looking for a results-driven, high-energy Director of Emergency Services to lead a busy 28-bed Emergency Department within a 300+ bed full-service facility serving the West Houston community.

You’ll join a leadership team that’s passionate about excellence in patient care and employee engagement, and work with top-tier clinical professionals to deliver exceptional emergency services in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Drive operational excellence, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Lead department strategy, development, and resource management
• Foster a culture of high performance and accountability
• Coach and develop immediate subordinates with ongoing performance feedback
• Enforce ED care standards and build metrics for quality compliance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support patient satisfaction initiatives
• Monitor clinical outcomes and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee 60+ FTEs in a high-volume ED averaging 130–150 patients / day
