As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, aligning, and securing HDPE and welded steel piping systems for pier infrastructure. You will perform HDPE pipe fusion using appropriate tools and techniques such as butt fusion and electrofusion. Additionally, you will assist with layout and preparation of pipe routes according to engineering drawings and specifications. Cutting, threading, and welding steel pipe for structural and utility applications, and inspecting joints, fittings, and welds for quality and compliance with safety standards are also part of your duties.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and secure HDPE and welded steel piping systems.
• Perform HDPE pipe fusion using tools such as butt fusion and electrofusion.
• Assist with layout and preparation of pipe routes as per engineering drawings.
• Cut, thread, and weld steel pipe as needed.
• Inspect joints, fittings, and welds for quality and safety compliance.

Work Environment

Work on a pier project in Hollywood, SC, from Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, with overtime as needed. This role involves hands-on work with various industrial tools and equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hollywood, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
