ILR Health is excited to bring you another locums position in paradise. Our hospital partner on the US Virgin Island of St. Thomas is looking for ED locums coverage. The schedule is somewhat flexible but they are looking for regular, recurring dates of 2 weeks or longer. Your airfare, rental car, lodging and temporary USVI license is provided. Are you available?

No visa sponsorships are available for this position.

An active state license from any US state and recent ED experience is required.

Job Details : 12-hour shifts

Typically, no more than 3 days or nights in a row

Annual volume of 20K

Single coverage from 7-9 am & 11p-7a. The remainder of day is double coverage from 9a -11 & 7p-9p usually with MLP. From 11a-7p we are triple covered.

Average census is 45-55 / day with about 25% pens and about 15% admit rate

Transfer major traumas and head bleeds usually to South Florida or Puerto Rico

Good subspecialty call roster and they are very respectful to ED attending

$135 / hour which is $1620 per 12-hour shift

Airfare, rental car, lodging, temporary license is provided
