Senior Editorial Manager, Literacy

A company is looking for a Senior Manager of Editorial, Literacy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the editorial workflow for print and digital literacy content, ensuring consistency across all components

Create and revise instructional units primarily for grades 6-12 ELA

Review manuscripts for content accuracy, clarity, and bias, while managing editorial quality across production stages

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in English, Education, or related field is a plus

5+ years of editorial experience in educational publishing

Strong ELA / literacy content knowledge, preferably for grades 6-12

Expertise with editorial style, markup, and The Chicago Manual of Style

Experience editing both print and digital instructional materials
