Phlebotomist Float Full Time

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Pueblo & surrounding areas of Pueblo, CO. 81003

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, hours will vary but typically Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6:00am - 5:30pm. And on Tuesday & Friday from 6:00am - 8:00am.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record within last 2 years
• Must be at least 21 years' old

Preferred Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy certification or completed Phlebotomy training program from an accredited agency or 3 months' experience as a Phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards:

• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable Transportation

*QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM* : Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

**Pay Range: $18.29 - $28.49 per hour

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
