Job Summary

  • Performs technical support to staff for computer hardware and software
  • Collaborates with department leadership to determine project priorities of identified software and hardware needs based on NRH strategic objectives, identified through ongoing assessment
  • Completes inventory records for tracking institution software
  • Acts as a resource as requested to determine if computer performance problems are a result of knowledge, systems, or policy and procedure deficits

Education

High School Diploma or GED. Associate degree in computer science, or technical certificate in computer related field, preferred

Experience

Two years of experience with computer hardware, software, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting; and dealing with local area networks and installation of PC network equipment, preferred.

Licensure / Certification

Two exams are required for this position. First exam is either or CompTia A+ or Microsoft Operating System Exam. Second exam required is an Advanced Microsoft Operating System exam or Manager approved Advanced CompTia exam.
