Job Description :

Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for an AI Engineer to add to their growing team. Our client is seeking an individual to research and prototype AI / ML models in areas like NLP, computer vision, generative AI, and recommendation systems, rapidly testing tools, frameworks, and APIs such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, and Google Vertex AI to build forward-looking applications. You’d engage in ideation sessions, contribute to developing MVPs and scalable solutions, and use various programming languages to create and deploy machine learning models. This includes supporting both batch and real-time inference pipelines in collaboration with Data Science and Applied AI teams. Additionally, you would assist in building MVP Gen AI applications by enabling data integrations, vendor connections, and deployment paths, while also developing custom Python-based deployment workflows (e.g., with Kubernetes or REST APIs) for prioritized prototypes. You’d work closely to integrate AI into user-facing interfaces, embedding intelligent features using APIs, and make timely, independent recommendations to solve problems in line with standards, policies, and regulations.

Responsibilities :

• Research and prototype AI / ML models in areas such as NLP, computer vision, generative AI, and recommendation systems.
• Rapidly test new tools, frameworks, and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Google Vertex AI) for use in forward-looking applications.
• Engage in ideation sessions and support the development of MVPs and scalable solutions.
• Utilize a variety of programming languages and tools to build and deploy machine learning models.
• Support both batch and real-time inference pipelines in collaboration with Data Science and Applied AI teams.
• Support the development of MVP Gen AI applications by enabling data integrations, vendor connections, and deployment paths Assist in building custom deployment workflows in Python (e.g., with Kubernetes or REST APIs) when needed for prioritized prototypes.
• Collaborate closely to integrate AI into user-facing interfaces Use APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face) to embed intelligent features.
• Ability to make timely recommendations to effectively solve problems, using independent judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, and / or law.

Requirements :

Previous energy industry experience (Preferred)
