If you're a dynamic and experienced sales professional with a knack for leadership, we have an exciting opportunity for you as the Area Director of Sales for three Hyatt Place hotels.

As the driving force behind the sales efforts of three distinct Hyatt Place hotels, you'll be challenged, inspired and rewarded. From the vibrant music scene surrounding Hyatt Place Opryland to the southern charm of Hyatt Place Memphis, you'll be leading a diverse and dynamic sales team across 3 vibrant locations.

What You'll Be Doing

With the key role of Area Director of Sales, your remit is diverse and exciting. It includes :

  • Nurturing a high-performance team of sales associates through proactive recruitment, engaging training and ongoing retention efforts.
  • Delivering winning results by exceeding budgeted sales revenue targets, setting the pace for profitable business opportunities.
  • Playing a key role in formulating strategic sales plans and quarterly action plans while implementing sales initiatives for seasonal markets and need dates throughout the region.
  • Mastering industry tools like STR reports, Agency360, Demand360, etc. and using them to drive results.
  • Planning and executing client events, photo shoots, and coordinating our presence at industry trade shows.

Your Role in the Hyatt Family

  • Ensure compliance with sales brand standards for each property, staying up-to-date with all brand requirements and initiatives.
  • Assist properties with business analysis, displacement analysis and work closely with the Revenue Management team.
  • Lead by example, training sales associates to maximize results.
  • Assist with budgeting top line revenue and sales expenses.

    • What We're Looking For

    We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with :

  • Three to five years of experience as a property Director of Sales.
  • Experience managing multiple sales associates.
  • A proven track record for improving financial and statistical results.
  • A solid understanding of systems like Envision, Lighthouse & PRO.
