Risk Management Coordinator
This position is located in the Risk Management division of the Department of Finance & Risk Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the countys insurance program. This includes acquiring insurance for the county, overseeing the Certificate of Insurance program, and reviewing contract language and insurance limits for county contracts and events. Duties will also involve maintaining accurate records of insurance policies, certificates of insurance, and related documentation. This role will involve working closely with the risk manager, brokers, internal and external stakeholders to identify the best coverage options and limits while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a program-related field as defined by the appointing authority at the time of recruitment, AND one year of experience coordinating, monitoring, and / or administering program activities or providing professional-level administrative support for a program or specialized work unit.
OR : Two years of experience with Pima County in a professional administrative classification.

Licenses and Certificates : Some positions require a valid Arizona Class D driver license at the time of application or appointment. Failure to maintain the required licensure shall be grounds for termination. Special Notice : The County requires pre-employment background checks.
