Are you a friendly and outgoing individual who loves connecting with people? The Greater Burlington YMCA is looking for part-time Member Engagement Associates to provide exceptional service, build relationships, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all members and visitors.

Schedule and Location : This position is based at our 298 College Street facility and requires availability for the opening shift, which begins at 4 : 45 a.m., Monday through Friday. We are open to flexible scheduling beyond the opening shift to accommodate up to 20 hours per week, depending on your availability and interest.

What You'll Do :
Welcome & Assist Members : Greet all members and visitors, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.Manage Memberships : Assist with new memberships, renewals, and general account management.Provide Information : Answer questions about YMCA programs, classes, and facility offerings.Give Facility Tours : Guide prospective members and highlight the benefits of joining the Y.Handle Transactions : Process payments, troubleshoot system issues, and manage basic cash handling.Answer & Direct Calls : Provide prompt and helpful phone assistance.Maintain a Clean & Organized Space : Ensure the front desk and surrounding areas remain welcoming and tidy.Resolve Member Concerns : Address questions or issues in a friendly and professional manner.Support Daily Operations : Assist with additional tasks as assigned to enhance the member experience.Requirements :

Work is primarily performed in an office setting with extended periods at a desk using a computer.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate.Ability to navigate the workspace efficiently.Must be able to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately to urgent or emergency situations, making quick decisions and taking action in accordance with organizational procedures.
