Cashier Customer Service

Hello!

Thank you for considering this position at The Antiques Loft! Currently, we are looking for someone to join our team and run our antiques shop Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10am to 5pm. You will operate under the guidance of our Shop Manager who runs the shop Thursday through Saturday, but will ultimately be the point person M-W helping customers, recording sales, and communicating with the dealers.

The dream would be for this individual to love what they do so that they would ultimately take over as the Shop Manager and really grow this business to the next level. Then we can discuss further perks ;)

Responsibilities

Open and close the shop in a timely manner. Greet customers with kindness and be willing to answer any questions that they may have. Check in on them as they shop and carry items for them to the front of the shop. Upon checkout, you will enter each items tag number into our POS system and take payment. You may need to package specifics items, such as glass, so that they travel well.

Keeping a tidy and organized shop is also a priority.

Qualifications

• Friendly and eager to help others
• English speaking
• 18 years old +
• Able to lift 25-50+lbs
• Can withstand warm and cold weather (our shop is not climate controlled)
