ey Responsibilities
Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to pediatric inpatients in collaboration with physicians and RNs.Monitor, assess, and document symptoms, treatments, and progress using SAMMC / WHASC standards.Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including IV therapies and emergency interventions.Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations and initiate life-saving measures when necessary.Operate emergency medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKGs, and cardiac monitors.Assist with admissions, discharges, and family education to promote rehabilitation and recovery.Requirements : Qualifications
1+ year full-time LVN / LPN experience in an Inpatient Pediatric Unit (within the past 3 years) — hospital setting onlyGraduate of an accredited nursing program (National League of Nursing approved)Active LVN / LPN license – any U.S. state or jurisdictionCurrent BLS and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC)Knowledge of pediatric medication dosages ; willingness to train in chemotherapy supportMust pass a pediatric pharmacology exam (80% or higher) and BAMC Telemetry TestU.S. citizenship and eligibility for government background clearanceYour Next Career Starts Here
