Registered Dental Hygienist – Kennebunk, ME

About Us

We are a small but growing dental practice planning to move into a newly renovated building in early 2026. Our experienced and positive team values collaboration, mentorship, and continuing education. Hygienists in our office see 6–8 patients per day and have access to state-of-the-art ultrasonic scalers and their choice of hand instrument armamentarium. This is an excellent opportunity to grow with a supportive, patient-focused practice that values work-life balance and professional growth.

Schedule

  • Full-time or part-time options available
  • 17–35 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling with a dedicated lunch hour

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
  • Conduct patient assessments, including medical history and oral examinations
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides
  • Maintain accurate patient records in Eaglesoft
  • Follow infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance
  • Assist with dental emergencies as needed
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient care and workflow
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities to expand skills

    • Requirements

  • Current dental hygiene license in Maine
  • Proficiency with Eaglesoft preferred
  • Strong knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to professional development and continuing education
