Clean Harbors is searching for a reliable and safety oriented I&E Maintenance Technician with an excellent INSTRUMENTATION and MECHANICAL aptitude to join our Dickinson, TX team!
The I&E Maintenance technician will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC / Delta V programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.

Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions
Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations
Maintains accurate records and logs as required
Installs new system controls (including power wiring)
Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers
Services and replaces motors and lighting
Performs general maintenance
Other duties as assigned
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
HS Diploma or Equivalent
Instrumentation degree, or certification preferred
4+ years of I&E experience in a plant environment preferred
Solid instrumentation skills
Experience with PLC Programming experience - Delta V is preferred
Honeywell experience
Distributed control system (DCS) experience required
Installing VFDs (Variable Frequency Drive) required
Mechanical aptitude and experience
Experience working with 480v and below
Proficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematics
Proficiency in process and instrumentation diagrams (PID)
Team player willing to assist where needed
Ability to prioritize work
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, lift, climb and stand for long periods of time
