Pay range : $70-$75 / hr. on w2

Job Description : Summary :

The main function of a content strategist is to partner with designers, product managers, researchers and product marketers to plan and create the content for digital products. This role will be on the Marketplace team which focuses on features and tools that build the foundation for anyone to buy, sell and engage with their community through commerce. Our team's purpose is to grow user engagement on Marketplace and create an authentically engaging experience for YA across the family of apps.

Job Responsibilities :

Plan, write, edit, test and improve content including UX interface language, product education materials, product names and informational architecture

Help apply and maintain consistency with content standards and evolve the company's voice

Collaborate with team stakeholders (designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers and engineers) to serve user needs based on topline metrics, data readouts and focus group feedback

Promote content strategy at clients and in the broader community of design and content professionals

Share work and give feedback to teammates

Skills :

Ability to work independently while escalating issues to management as necessary

Ability to interpret, analyze and evaluate given information relative to content techniques

Self-motivated, persuasive, enthusiastic and eager-to-collaborate

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Education / Experience :

Contractors should provide a portfolio upon submission (candidates work will be evaluated based on quality of writing and UX thinking).
