Overview

The Associate Chaplain of the Department of Spiritual Services will provide excellence in pastoral care to the patients, families and staff of Children's Mercy, and will engage in professional and Departmental development to provide best practice in all aspects of care.

If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree The Associate Chaplain will meet the minimum educational requirement of a Bachelors degree and be in pursuit of a Master of Divinity (if not completed) or equivalent related degree. The Associate Chaplain will have taken a minimum of one or two units of Clinical Pastoral Education. The Associate Chaplain will also be in good standing as an ordained or licensed religious leader (or equivalent). and 1-2 years experience or

• Master's Degree (M.Div. preferred)

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $20.07/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
