Piper Companies is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join a leading healthcare organization. This is a REMOTE role, preference is for candidates in Pennsylvania , New Jersey , or Delaware .

Responsibilities for the Linux Systems Administrator include :

• Deploy and maintain Linux-based operating systems
• Administer and manage RedHat Linux systems
• Configure and support web technologies such as Apache and Tomcat
• Install, configure, and maintain databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
• Configure system-level networking and firewalls
• Manage and support Active Directory integrations
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure optimal performance
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems and processes
• Automate tasks and workflows using scripting tools
