The role of a Senior Project Manager in construction is to oversee the general management and execution of a construction project. Senior Project Managers will assist during the pre-construction phase, including estimating, subcontractor negotiations, and value engineering. During the construction phase, the Senior Project Manager will work closely with the assigned superintendent and construction personnel to successfully oversee the physical construction of the project, ensuring it remains on schedule and on budget. Maintaining good communication with the client, client representatives, and the Vice President is essential throughout the project’s life cycle.
