About The Position

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Nuclear Medicine

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 5x8-Hour

Hours per Shift : 06 : 30 - 15 : 00

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience required

License : Valid State License required

Certifications : BLS, CNMT required

Must-Have : Epic charting experience preferred

Description :

On-call requirement is every other weekend from 06 : 30 - 15 : 00.

Floating will be required for on-call only between facilities.

There is no weekend call.

The patient age groups include pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

The role involves starting and maintaining IVs.

Knowledge of storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials is necessary.

Previous charge experience is not required.

Floating to other units and / or facilities is expected.

Two references from within the last 24 months are required.

Travel pairs are acceptable for submission if not related.

If related, candidates can be submitted to the same facility but not the same unit.

Schedules can be changed with two weeks' notice to balance workload.

FBI / BCI results take 4-6 weeks to process for specific roles.

This position requires compliance with health and vaccination policies.

Travelers cannot start with pending license approval.
