Responsibilities
Independently manage and organize legal files with minimal supervisionDraft correspondence, petitions, supplements, accountings, and related legal documentsReview probate notes and file appropriate documents with the courtRecord legal documents with the County Recorder's OfficePrepare and assemble estate planning documents for attorney and client reviewServe as a primary point of contact for clients and provide high-level support to attorneysProcess incoming mail and scan documents into the case management systemMaintain accurate and well-organized case filesManage attorney calendars, coordinate scheduling, and track critical deadlinesPrepare concise synopses and case summaries as neededQualifications
Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, LLCs, and corporate lawSolid understanding of California Probate Law is essentialComfortable working in a dynamic, client-focused environmentHighly detail-oriented, organized, and effective at managing time and prioritiesCapable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a close-knit teamExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong computer proficiencyBachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate preferredMust hold an active Notary Public commission
