Summary : To work as a nurse at Sunshine, you must have a strong interest in providing nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that supports our mission : to create community among people with developmental disabilities, their families, friends, and staff

Qualifications :

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Ohio

Valid Driver's License, good driving record and Auto Insurance

Pass criminal background, drug screen and physical

Able to lift 50 lbs.

18 years or older

Job Details : Responsibilities include :

Using the nursing process, provide care and oversee individuals with varying disabilities

Maintain charts, records, and all physician orders and lab values

Keeping current with regulations from Ohio Department of Health, Ohio Department of Developmental Disability and all other regulatory entities, as well as regulatory compliance within the agency

Providing constant and effective communication through an interdisciplinary team approach

Willingness to learn and be trained on ventilators, trachs and gastric tubes, if not proficient already.

Weekend rotation, small on-call requirement, shift differential, and on-call pay!
