About The Position

Job Title : MRI Technologist

Profession : Radiology

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years preferred

License : Valid State License required at the time of submission

Certifications : ARRT MR, BLS

Must-Have :

• Two years of experience in MRI
• Experience with Epic charting preferred

Description :

Competently performs routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.

Works independently while exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures delivering accurate results in a timely manner.

Gains confidence and cooperation from patients, their families / support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.

Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.

May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and / or assisting in the orientation of other staff to the department.
