Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist

Description

• Provides cross cover for admitted patients including fielding nurse calls and performing bedside evaluation as needed
• Completes comprehensive patient assessments and determine diagnosis and treatment of illness.
• Orders and interprets medical diagnostics in tandem with attending physician.
• Conducts patient education when working to manage chronic illness or wellness care.
• Consults with physician when patient needs outside of scope of practice, diagnosis or treatment plan is unclear.
• Promotes communication within the team and other interdisciplinary health care staff.

Pay Range

Pay Range : $127,174 to $159,420 per yearThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
